About the role
As a production planner with us, you will have a central role between the customer, production, and suppliers. You will work on creating clear and efficient production documentation while contributing to ensuring that the right materials are in place when needed.
You receive customer orders by email, register them in Monitor, and are responsible for preparing production orders based on drawings, technical data sheets, and customer specifications. Initially, you will primarily work with simpler preparations and will have the opportunity to gradually learn our working methods, processes, and customer requirements. As you become more confident in the role, you will have the opportunity to develop and take on more advanced preparations and technical documentation.
You have regular contact with our customers to clarify documentation, requirements, and delivery expectations.
The role also includes purchasing-related tasks, such as ordering materials, following up on deliveries, and communicating with our suppliers. You will therefore be involved in the entire process – from customer orders and production preparation to ensuring that production has the right conditions to deliver according to customer requirements. You are also responsible for managing and following up on deviations with our suppliers.
The work is done in close collaboration with our existing production engineer, our production planner, and other functions within production. The role suits you if you enjoy bringing together multiple parts, communicating with both customers and suppliers, and creating structure in a production-oriented flow.
Knowledge of paint types, surface treatment, and coating processes from an administrative role is a merit. We would like you to have an understanding of technical data sheets, painting instructions, or specifications linked to production. Experience in purchasing, supplier contacts, or material planning is also a merit, but not a requirement.
About you
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, solution-oriented, and interested in learning all about industrial paints and masking drawings. You enjoy order and structure, have an understanding of people's differences, and therefore find it easy to collaborate. We believe that you:
- Good computer literacy and preferably experience with ERP systems (Monitor is an advantage)
- Have a good understanding of drawing reading and measurement technology, or the willingness to learn
- Has experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within painting or related industry
- Is communicative, responsible, and eager to learn new things
- Ability to see the big picture in a production flow

Since November 2023 our name is Råda Coating AB, formerly Prestanda Lacktjänst. Since May 2021, Råda Coating AB is a subsidiary of Råda Industries AB.
Råda Coating AB is located in Ödsmål, and together with our current 30 employees, we are specialists in wet painting, masking, assembly, and blasting. Our customers operate within a wide range of industries such as medical technology, the defense industry, the marine industry, and the mechanical engineering industry.

Today we have 8 spacious spray booths equipped in various ways, ovens for curing elements up to 12 meters long, various types of spraying equipment such as pumps and pressure tanks, as well as electrostatic equipment. The facility also features a blast room with free-blasting equipment and a blast cabinet with garnet abrasive for small components. Complete sanding room with equipment. Masking and assembly department with a masking plotter, laser engraving, and salt spray chamber.
